Great opportunity to take a picture with Buddy Holly statue. Located in a nice little park near the Buddy Holly Center. Worth the few steps to get there.

This statue of Buddy Holly was moved from its original location so if you are using GPS to find it you will be sent to new housing. However, very nice layout and the Walk of Fame interesting.

I like visiting low/no cost attractions. I was here over Easter and it is a great statue and memorial. You can just walk up to it and look around and take a photo opp.

If and when you are in Lubbock Texas you have to stop and visit the statue of Buddy Holly and the Wall of Fame! Cool pics with the statue and saw some names on the wall you just have to come and see for yourselves.

Nice statue, ideal for a photo opportunity. Bonus is it's free. There is also a wall of fame. On Buddy Holly Avenue his song titles are in the bricks on the pavement
