While waiting to get in at Spoons we took a stroll around the square. Such a charming and rustic, yet modern downtown area. Tons of places to eat and lots of little boutiques. Can't wait to take my mom to downtown McKinney when she visits in March!

McKinney has the perfect little town square to stroll around when the weather is nice! There are shops, cafes, art & craft places, wine bars, antiques, and art - something for everyone. On weekends, do not be surprised to happen upon bands, choirs, musicians, princesses leaving a party, etc. Great little area to spend an hour or all day.

This is exactly what an old time square is meant to be. A number of bistro's, wine lounges and things to do.

I was there on Valentines Day. It was so busy you could just feel the excitement. They offer a wide variety of eateries. From sweets to fine dining. Shopping from souvenirs to home furnishings. The courthouse is the perfect building to enjoy as you stroll around this wonderful block. I visit as often as I can.

We were visiting McKinney for a wedding and were told how nice down town McKinney was so we took a fifteen minute drive there. It was really fun walking through the unique shops and antique stores. Even the men enjoyed.

This is a cute place to hang out on a weekend or evening. Lots of variety in restuarants and a fun atmosphere. The kids like the candy store!

McKinney's downtown square is perfect for everyone. It's great for dining, shopping, strolling and people-watching. Date night, wine with friends, gelato or pie with the kids, it's all here on the square. The people are friendly and it's clean and safe. Allow a little extra time for parking in case you're not lucky enough to find a spot right on... More

We recently moved to McKinney from North Carolina. North Carolina is a beautiful state and the city of Charlotte is a wonderful place to live, we miss all our friends there. However, the town of McKinney couldn't be more picturesque. When you pull into the main square of old McKinney you feel like you stepped back in time. There are... More
