So many times in Athens but I have forgotten this magnificent temple. It is not so far away from the city and many travel agencies arrange trips to Sounion and Temple of Poseidon.

65 km from Athens. The road along the coast is nice. 8$ entry for adulte, free for children under 12 years. The view is great. À must seen while in Athens. Even greater by the sunset.

Stunning view. Marble sea and sky. One of the best places to visit in Greece. To feel what Greece always was and still is.

the bus to Sounion also stops on Fillenion St just off Syntagma. Far more convenient if you are staying near Plaka, Syntagma, or this side of Athens. Just ask your hotel.
