This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel Bezançon.La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area and therefore is one of the large ski resorts and is also a family-friendly resort with adapted package offers.

We have skied in La Plagne for over twenty years and still find new places to ski. There is lots of off-piste skiing available but it doesn't get skied out quickly like some resorts.

La Plagne Paradiski - End of March 2017. I stayed at Plagne Aime 2000 so was quite high up and snow assured. It is central enough and easy reach of all areas in La Plagne. Montalbert at 1350m is a ski down between the trees, an area for the bad weather days. At the end of March we only managed... More

Lacking some charm in areas the resort is easy to navigate and offers a wide choice of ski and boarding experiences to suit all levels. Some of the lifts are as old as I am, can be slow and the lift lines can be long at peek times. In terms of value for money the ski pass offers a reasonable... More

La Plagne is an extensive ski resort which has mainly wide open blue runs . This makes it absolutely perfect for family skiing - we almost didn't need to consult a piste map as there weren't many red and black runs to catch us out !

We went here for a carnaval break one-week ski trip, and had a great stay. The snow was very good given the weather conditions. For ski/snowboard this is really a great resort, but the village is not very cosy.

Now that La Plagne is linked up to Les Arcs by a stupendous lift across the valley, you have a huge ski area at your disposal. La Plagne offers long motorway pistes and Les Arcs (better for mountain restaurants) has prettytree lined sloped. Fun slopes in both areas and skiing to over 3000m. If you are staying in La Plagne... Excellent area for all skiers and boarders. Huge area. We skied mainly in La Plagne but did go over to Las Arcs, which was very easy.

Great for a skier or snow boarder, not so great for an injured tourist. Thank goodness for 6 peaks festival and the lift operators because there is little to do in resort until about 3 pm. Loved the Magic pool in Bellecote and used the free bus a lot.

Wide slopes, amazing views, mixture of runs to suit all abilities. We went 18th march, snow was really at the end of season, I've been in Jan, Feb before, I'd say the 1st week of march is the best time for good weather and crispy snow
