It was actually a rainy day but walking under the trees you couldn't feel the rain so much. The trail wasn't hard but still be sure to watch your steps. It was beautiful to be surrounded by the trees and a few streams.

We walked this trail for the first time in the dead of winter. Despite being cold out and the greenery being dead, it was great! The trail is long and has plenty to see. We go back every few weeks!

I went down the trail with my children, and we had a good time. At the beginning of the trail there is sufficient parking space, and the trail is easy to walk.

There's not much challenge to the trail, it's mostly flat and only a few miles long. It gets washed out after heavy rain so be very careful on a bike. It follows a muddy little creek.

Meandering through the heart of Nacogdoches and following the Lanana Creek this trail has a special place in my heart. Always nice to get away from the city and back to nature right in the middle of town.

My wife and I love to walk especially in a peaceful, natural setting. A wide variety of trees (pines and hardwoods) mixed with some of the sweetest smelling flowering shrubs I have even smelled made this a very enjoyable trek. The creek changes from a...More

Stretches miles, more than 80% shaded, some narrow paths, but mostly very wide for four people to walk shoulder-to-shoulder. Easy and relaxing. Stop and watch the creek, there's a few perfect places to read a book, a few benches every other mile or so, some...More

This is a very nice and well maintained trail running through the heart of Nacogdoches. I can get muddy during the wetter months. One of the better places to enjoy the outdoor in town.

I'm not certain, but the employees of the Visitor's Center should be able to tell you for sure.

This area of East Texas abounds with many different types of plants and trees. If you turn your back for a second, a new one will appear. It does make landscaping difficult, as the natural growth of plant life can be like... More
