Absolutely beautiful bridge and surrounding area. The water below and waterfall are beautiful. You can even walk underneath the bridge and go in the water.

There are better bridges, true, but the view of the river and surroundings is worth the time spent on a sunny day. LOVED it!

We loved finding this little place! It's so peaceful. You have to park beside it as it is pedestrian traffic only. Enjoy the river as you pass over it or sit and soak in the nature on the benches provided. Beautiful architecture and a wonderful...More

I've lived in New Braunfels my whole life and have only been to this bridge once or twice. It's not much of a "must see" spot in New Braunfels but the view from the bridge is nice.

Not easy to find and parking is very limited but worth the visit. This bridge was the only route between San Antonio and Austin in the late 1800s. It was built in 1887 and is now only a walking bridge with lots of history. You...More

I like old bridges, so went out there right before sunset. Below the bridge people are swimming and enjoying the surroundings. It's nice just to stand there and enjoy mother nature.
