There was a small waterfall at this juncture of the river but it is quite muddy and to find this you have to drive into an obscure part of town in a neighborhood. I have to wonder if the city was searching for more attractions? There are nicer areas along the Comal river to see.

We saw this on the internet before traveling to the area and had decided we were going to try and find it. We had a hard time locating it but we finally found it. It was a neat looking bridge. They have benches at several spots on the bridge to stop, sit and just look at the beautiful view of... More

It was just on our "to do" list. It's a cool old steel bridge, that's about it. It does have a nice view and a good spot for photos. Can't say much more....

The first steel bridge in Texas . When we went there's a couple taking pictures for their wedding. Lots of families come and relax in this beautiful bridge. There's also people swimming & fishing down the river.

Beautiful and historical bridge. Great view of the Guadalupe River. Only negative is some industrial buildings in the background. Easy to access off the highway. Noticed a venue below with setup for outdoor weddings. Great bridge for walking while enjoying the view.

One of my favorite places. It's a great view of the river and the fishermen below. It's a super spot for photos. Go early in the morning with your coffee and enjoy the sights and sounds of the river below.

We stopped by on our way to Gruene. It was a lovely spot to take pics with kids. We were even lucky to see a train pass by on the opposite bridge. The kids loved it.
