Beach is always clean, has plenty of portapotties, trash cans and showers. We hold an annual Jeep event here and being able to park an RV, pitch a tent, and drive on the sand is awesome!

It is very fun for anyone to play around on. It’s great for boogie boarding and sand castle building.

I never learned to surf, but it looks like fun. Paddle boarding is common. So is surf fishing. Rip tides are common and the wind blows all the time - ALL the time.

Port A beach is clean and has a few outdoor showers for rinsing off. As a girls trip we felt totally safe.

The water is cleaner than the beaches at Galveston. Great to plan a beach trip during summer. Fishing allowed at certain points.

We love this beach! Skip any others! This one is clean and most of the people are polite. We come here instead of Galveston any day.

Lovely beach! Not too crowded and right off a (sand) road for easy access! The water was warm and clear when I visited at the end of May. I believe you need a parking permit to park on the beach, but it is worth it!...More
