This is a real links course, just like Ireland or Scotland, except in much nicer shape. Very well maintained, great fairways and greens. I would not recommend this for a high handicapper unless you can keep it straight, because like most links courses, once you are off the closely mown areas, you are dropping another ball. Check your ego at... More

Really nice course, very friendly staff. Greens in great shape, but very fast. Very scenic and neat layout. Links style, first cut of fairway nice grass but not wide. If you don't hit the fairway don't even bother looking for your ball. A couple of blind tee shots. I probably lost a dozen balls, but still a lot of fun.

OK the course was in good shape but on the Ocean and very windy there. The pin locations are tough, I'm a decent golfer and had trouble against the wind, I think I shot around a ninety with two lost balls The drinks and food in the clubhouse e good No one on the course to wait on you o... More

This is a good course but a little overpriced. It is in good condition for the most part but a few ragged spots. There are a few holes with views of the gulf. It's a fun course that I will play again.

The greens here were so nice our toddler granddaughter and I went barefoot the whole time. Ocean view on a couple of holes. Every single person on staff that we encountered was incredibly nice. The hubs played and we just rode along enjoying the wildlife and scenery. Nature called at one point and I started walking toward the clubhouse since... More

Very fair from the women's tees. Course was in great shape generally, but a few fairways were patchy. The fairways were pretty tight, so if toy have trouble staying on the fairway, you will lose a lot of balls. For those with the first tee times, the clubhouse does not open very early, so range time might be limited before... More

we were lucky and played here on a day that to locals was windstill. To us there was still a little bit of a breeze but apparently they have huge winds here. The design is Arnold Palmer and we have always enjoyed those courses and this was no exception. You are quite close to the beach but only have a... More

i payed seventy to play in the midafternoon midweek in the summer. the course is in good but not perfect shape. it is extremely challenging links style course. i lost a dozen balls but had a very good time being pushed beyond the limits of my game on a windy sunny day. the only complaint i have is that there... The course has been renamed the Palmilla Beach Golf Club. (Formerly Newport Dues) I have played it a number of times and have always found it challenging, in good shape, and enjoyable. There has been a tremendous amount of rain in Port Aransas of late, and although the course has a lot of low spots that are retaining water and... More

My husband loves golfing and when we vacation in Port Aransas, Texas he always golfs here. They may have changed the name but not the beauty of the course. it is a challenging course but it is beautiful.
