Beautiful Beach

We loved this beach and it was very close to where we were staying. It was an overcast day so it was not crowded.

We come to Rockport to spend the winter months and purchase an annual pass for $20. Well worth the money, even for a few months. Nice beach, super clean with good restroom facilities. Downside beach is in a bay and there are not many waves. Young kids like waves, older folks just enjoy the nice water.

I was blown away by this little beach having stumbled upon it with no knowledge of the area. I am positively excited to bring my little one back here. The best part is the ocean-front has no drop off for at least a hundred feet so you can be best assured the little ones will get to play/swim in the... More

We get a season pass every year, beaches maintained, great facilities and love the boat channel for evening watching dolphin and sunsets.

Enjoyed the cleanliness of the beach, with small thatched roof shelters providing relief from the sun. Waves are small and water is shallow, so it's great for young children. We did see a few jelly fish. Covered picnic tables are available on a first come first serve basis in a grassy area with playground equipment. Drawback: sand burrs! Shoes are... More

Nice little beach area with covered picnic tables. Great for small children as it gradually gets deeper - lots of shallow water. There is a fee to enter the Beach.

The whole town of rockport is infested with mosquitoes! Anywhere you go anytime of day doesn't matter. They even come out in the wind and in full force. Went to the park full of mosquitos, went to the beach full of mosquitoes, try to go outside of the Rv at Rv park and can't even do that. Just like others... More

Hi, I love this beach, especially for small children. You do not have to worry about riptides. The bank does not slope off dramatically. Of course, children should be watched by an adult near water at all times. There are lots of wonderful birds on this beach. You can fish, picnic. There are playgrounds.

Every once in awhile it feel good to go to the beach, enjoy the breeze and the view while sitting in the shade smoking a great cigar. I highly recommend trying this, enjoy.
