The Aquarium is gone. You can thank Hurricane Harvey for that. Rockport is working on recovery, so come here and enjoy what's here. The Aquarium will not be one of those things.

I am sad to report that the Aquarium was completely destroyed when Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport with 130 mph winds on 8/25/17. All that is left of the building is its twisted steel structure. The exhibits are gone. It's going to be quite a while...More

If you are expecting a big aquarium visit this is not your place. BUT! It is free and very educational and fun for little ones which is why we love it.

Visited it with my husband, son and nephew. We all enjoyed it. Nice people, great sea life to look at and learn about. Great place to take the family. Also has a little gift shop as well.

Quick visit, educational, clean, small but worth the stop. Donations are suggested, ran by volunteers.

The museum was a welcome activity for our preschool aged grandaughter. Free admission. Open air, pleasant, and breezy on a hot day. There were lots of fishtanks with all sorts of fish and crustaceans to look at. There was a video playing in a theater...More
