Go spend some time. My son (student at TX State) and I went over and spent an afternoon. Super friendly and knowledgeable people. Take a few hours and go see some history.

We come every year for a fund raising dinner and swing dance. The museum is always interesting to view as are the WWII planes.

My daughter in law took me here. It was exciting. Actual WWII warplanes, and most still fly. You can get into, if you can, a Navy jet. Even a small museum and gift shop for browsing. The planes are beautiful. A real history treat. Fun...More

Unfortunately the museum was closed, my fault for not checking. However on went onto the website to check dates and hours and found a spectacular treat. Amazing website with plenty of photos and history.
