Great place to take a walk out and see the water up close if you have your fishing pole drop a line and enjoy a few hours of good fishing.

We didn't go here to fish, but we did like watching everyone there that was trying their luck. We probably saw 25 or so people fishing and not one person caught any fish while we were there. We just wanted to take a stroll out on the pier which was really nice. There are a few good photo ops, so... More

We walked the pier and watched some people fish, was not crowded. Had a nice little shop, it had everything from trinkets to fish bait It was a fun walking around Queen Isabella and seeing the Lighthouse and unique little shopping stores. .

I always reserve some time to fish on the pier advertised as the longest fishing pier in Texas, and I've never been disappointed. You do need a Texas salt water fishing license to fish in the Gulf and off the pier, and the local convenience store co-located with the pier can supply you with a license----along with fishing gear, bait,... Really cool to be able to get so far out into the Laguna Madre ! Feels like you're on a vessel. Will return for sure ! Hit the "Quick-Stop" for your bait and tackle. Folks were very cool there !

We stay at the KOA and get passes to this pier. Without the pass, this place is a bit expensive at $9 per pole. The pier itself is great and we always do well fishing here.

The boys went almost every night fishing, they had a blast, caught a lot of different kids of fish. For teenage boys it was perfect.

We just got a [dizzy] thrill walking out in the water so far and it's just up to your knees, then your waist. Recommend wearing waders ...so many fishermen were out in the water in waders and boats. The bridge itself has an unusual history. Go on the Breakaway Dolphin cruise with Captain Paul [very knowledgeable le and handsome too]... More
