Decorated german house dj makes a surprise appearance for Global Groove's local Sundown Sessions and had the residents of the rgv a delightful taste of some good ol' fashion balearic vibes to sunny south padre. The area was very well rearranged for this thus having you enter from the Hilton's which was a little confusing but thus end up towards... More

We are winter Texans who stayed in Andie Bowie park from December 2016 - April 20 17. If you're looking for lots of amenities this is not the place for you. It's an asphalt parking lot with FHU. There is one shower for men and one for women. The restrooms are very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly... More

$10 fee. Parking lot and short walk through dunes to the beach. Big beach. Clean. Water much prettier than Corpus Christi and Galveston. Not many beach goers this time of year. Older people and some dog walkers.

Get away from some of the crowd by heading to Andy Bowie Park - our Cameron County pass ($12.50/month for veterans or $25/month otherwise). Restrooms and nice uncrowded beaches were great!

Water was great, waves were good. Not crowded and clean ! Good surf fishing too. Shelling was good, firm sand for walking.

I was only on the island for one rainy stormy afternoon. I thought I should at least check out the beach. Parking is $10 and the park has full facilities. I'll be back when the weather is nicer. There were literally a ton of dead fish on the beach the day I was there , not sure what that's all... More

The beach and park area were very clean. Loved doing my yoga at sunset. Would return here if I have the opportunity.

First of all, the beach itself was beautiful! Maybe our expectations were a bit unrealistic for the end of April, but it was very crowded. 3-4 rows of umbrellas/chairs/tents do not make for a relaxing beach experience. Some people were also blaring music which is not really what I'm looking for on a beach. I'm sure it's great fun if... More
