I went there a couple of times last year. With summer coming around I was searching for camping sites to visit this year and Krause came up. I remembered how awful the staff was. The rudest I've ever come across. It's difficult to get to...More

I went to Krause Springs to recharge my batteries and oh, how glad I did! I stayed for two nights on the first level of campgrounds. I went in the middle of the week (before school was let out for the summer) so it wasn't...More

Nice campground and restroom facilities. The pool near the family home has flowing water from the spring that flows down to the small waterfall below down the cliff. The staircase down the cliff was a nice addition, but stops and then you are on slippery...More

Kids had a great time and the springs, pool and river are beautiful and unique. My suggestions would be to limit the number of overnight campers and limit music noise volume and hours after 6pm. I love CCR, Led Zepplin as much as the next...More

Wow - we had a wonderful swim at Krause Springs. It is a beautiful swimming hole with cypress trees and a grotto and little waterfall with ferns and rocks. We sunbaked on the rocks and watched people swing out and jump from the rope swing.

This is a a lovely place, but it is precarious, even for adults. There is very difficult access to the water and it is surrounded by large slippery rocks. I saw 2 adults eat it HARD on those rocks! Don't bring your baby here!! That's...More

Krause Springs was exactly the type of adventure we were looking for. We could explore off the beaten path, but it wasn't so rugged that 2 moms with two 15 year old girls and two 10 year old boys couldn't handle it! The Falls were...More

Visited Krause Springs in February, obviously not in the busiest season. It was quiet, serene and peaceful. I can imagine the place must be spectacular in the summer months. The natural pond/pool at the bottom looks like a lagoon. Hope I van come back when...More

I'm sure it is different in the summer, but this place was a delight when we went. It has water falls and babbling springs throughout the lovely property. It is similar to the property of a nice hotel or resort with natural and old-timey touches....More

It's a little hard to find and definitly out of the way, but once you get there it's worth the drive! The springs are beautiful and the surrounding pools and gardens are great. The RV park is okay, the dump station is a pain to...More

For sure by 10 am. They have a few camp grounds so they could be busy with those if you are trying to call in the am or early evening. They are open year round . Just remember the Springs are very cold . So that is why most... More

I don't notice bugs. Some of the water is deep and some is shallow.
