Vitited this museum and enjoyed the information on Czech culture. Did not know much about this before visiting here. They have rare coins and bibles. They have Czech national clothing that is interesting to view. The staff is friendly. Kenny provided excellent insight into the rate artifacts.

The museum is small, but effective in delivering basic information about the history of Czech immigrants to Texas. There are numerous set pieces, which are in very good condition. The costumes are in good shape and displayed in an interesting way. The customer service is terrific. Parking is not a problem.

Awesome museum of Czech historical immigration to Texas in the 1800's and local Czech color during the years since the migration. A small but well thought out and put together museum, with very well done tours from local tour guides, and quite a bit of memorabilia for a smallish building. A vast array of Czech heritage is well displayed along... More

If you have Czech heritage, you should stop here. It's a small museum so it doesn't take very long. The guide is very nice and informative.

I attended a Czech lesson and met really nice, interesting people. Czech pastries and coffee was served. Loved it! There was an article there on the Doctor who took my appendix out in 1956!

My dad and I went for a visit after I found this museum on trip advisor. The guide was patient with his questions and helped him find information in the library regarding our relatives from the 1800s. There was much more in the museum than I expected. Great to visit, especially if you are of Czech descent.

Czech Heritage Museum and Genealogy Center in Temple, TX is a must-see place for anyone interested in Texas and European history. This little, but loaded with artifacts, museum captures the major influx of Czech people in Texas in mid-1800’s and their cultural contribution to American history. The guiding staff was very friendly and informative, providing great understanding of the era... More

This part of Central Texas has many residents of Czechoslovakian descent! Their immigration into our area is fascinating. The museum is well managed and informative. I believe there is a nominal entrance fee, but if you are interested in Czech heritage, the museum would be well worth an hour or two of your time.
