I've been to concerts in huge stadiums and arenas, including Madison Squate Garden, Azteca Stadium, Wembley, San Diego Sports Arena, Toyota Center, American Airlines, etc. None compare to the quality in experience you receive at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion or as we call it in The Woodlands: "The Pavillion"! The acoustics for one are among the best I've heard.... More

After going to the new Sugar Land Arena that is mercifully replacing what Houstonians call "The Mosquito Bowl", ie: the Cynthia Woods Pavilion for concerts, it seemed appropriate to share why no one should waste a moment of their life suffering at the worst concert arena in the nation. Here's an accurate and unabashed accounting of this disaster: After reading... More

I have attended several events at The Pavilion - free and ticketed. The Houston Ballet was free and very enjoyable. The Houston Symphony has also had free concerts that are outstanding. The seating is first come, first serve and I have always been able to get great seats. The ticketed event was Derek and Julieanne Hough. While it was very... More

Comfortable; some areas are free to bring your own chair and listen to concerts by well known entertainers.

This is a great mid sized outdoor concert venue located at the entrance to the Woodlands. Sound quality is great and all the non-stadium groups play here. Lots of great pre-show restaurants located at market street and woodlands mall. It seems the most fun people get the lawn seats. Always a great time.

This outdoor theater is a great venue for concerts. My only warning is that it can be Very hot in July and August. The sound is great.

The Woodlands Pavilion is truly a world-class concert venue! With over 6,000 covered seats and space for 11,000 on the lawn, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The concessions are operated by a different non-profit at most events, with some of the proceeds going to help their cause. The operations team keeps the venue spotless and in good... More

Such a great space....it feels like a intimate setting nestled in the trees. We've seen shows here from pop/rock to the symphony to comedians. The reserved area is nice if you really want to be close...and as a protection from the sun or rain. Lawn area is nice, too, though. Lots of food and beverage options. Friendly staff at the... More

We love the Mitchell Pavilion for concerts. It has the variety of reserved seating as well as festival seating on the grass lawn. The acoustics are great and the jumbo screens help to see the artists up close.
