I wrote a somewhat less than favorable review in December because they had changed their tasting. What a pleasant surprise when we went this week-end for their fabulous barrel tasting event, and I saw that not only had they read my review, but had listened and opened up their tasting to include all of their wines! Thank you Ed and... More

This was a great afternoon drive up to Lake Buchanan and the Fall Creek Vineyards. The FC Tasting Room is charming, as is James, the manager of the room. FC has a nice variety of wines, and the tasting experience was great. Highly recommend a visit.

A friend and I visited thI s pictures Texas vineyard on a weekday in August. The setting is beautiful, reminiscent of Tuscany. Decor is in keeping with the setting. We enjoyed the wine tasting, which cost $15.00 and includes several wines. This was all good. We were very disappointed with lunch. Due to aberrant weather, we were comfortable eating outside... We had fun doing the grape stomp! Even my 5 y/0 daughter said it was fun! The stomped grapes were so cold though so prepare your feet! You can buy t shirt for $15 and have your feet printed on the back as a souvenir which we did! Then my 5y/0 went on the bouncing house with my mom .... More

The 44th year or so year of growing grapes and producing wine in Texas. Texas wineries owe their existence to Fall Creek Winery as they were the pioneers of Texas wine. The place will not disappoint. Much more to do here than we participated in. Their lovely website provides the details of all they offer. As a spur of the... More

I have been going to this vineyard for over 20 years. I came here when my company had a hunting lease but stopped coming for years when I didn't work at the other company anymore. Well, since we started making annual cousin vacations at Lake LBJ I have rediscovered it. I love the Chardonnay and usually leave with a case... More

Late one afternoon while at lake LBJ we ventured off for a wine tasting. It's a nice drive to the vineyard. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the wines we tasted. My wife really like Ed's white. We will visit again when we are back in the area.

Great trip through the spring bluebonnets and a little side road along Lake Buchanan will get you to Flat Dreek WInery. Nice people behind the counter = we liked Rick our guy, and the other guy with the cowboy hat seemed fun too. The wines were suprisingly good -- and, in our opinion, amazing valies for a Texas winery.. Being... More

We visited this winery for my birthday and it was fantastic we did the luncheon that they do once a year and the food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding I really enjoyed myself. Hopefully next time I visit I can crush some grapes and see some on the vines.
