We have been visiting this science museum for many years. My son loved it when he was younger and now my little girl enjoys it. They always have plenty of interactive exhibits available to keep the kids entertained and educated.

I had my daughter's 2nd Birthday Party at the Discovery Science Place and they did not disappoint. If you book a party there, they give you one of the three different themed party rooms for an hour and a half and then the kids in your party are free to play at the discovery science place until close if they... Thanks for your review! We're glad your family enjoyed their visit/birthday party and hope to have you back again soon. I'm not sure how long ago your party was, but if it was before our fall 2016 shutdown be sure to come back by soon to see all the great renovations that were done and the two new exhibit spaces-... All our grandchildren have loved this place. Our 8 year old still loves it. He has had several birthday parties here. They change the exhibits to keep it fresh! Great summer camps also.

We have been to Discovery Science Place once before for a birthday party and the kids enjoyed it so much we decided to purchase a family pass. Our kids really enjoy the activities available and I saw adults playing with the kids and having fun themselves. It is a very safe place and the family pass is pretty reasonably priced.

Our annual passes are a great value, and if your family likes to travel/attend other museums our premium pass gets you into hundreds of museums, including the Perot, the Houston Children's Museum, and more! We hope to have you back for another visit soon. More

This place is for younger children. Teens would foo foo it. I personally liked the Earthquake floor that really gave your body a "whole body" massage. I would have stood there forever, but people were starting to look at me funny. I was kinda hogging it. We enjoyed panning for gold at the entrance of the place. We had fun... More

The Discovery Science Place has really been upgraded over the last year or so. Now there are a lot of hands-on activities kids find fun and interesting. Some of the activities used to be broke, but they all work now. Excellent place to take the kids for a day's adventure. Kuddo's for the great progress made in the last year!

This place has something for everyone. Some things are looking run down and need to be changed. Overall a great place to take the grandkids.

My husband and I had been wanting to go to this before it moved on and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both have had experience either as or with first responders so the scientific aspect of the exhibit was quite interesting. We were amazed at the detail displayed - how on earth were they able to highlight the bronchial tubes and... More

Great place if you have kids ages 4 to 12. Lots of things for them to explore and not play with. And great place to go on a hot summer day or rainy day.

Ok, I'll start off by saying we took my 4 and 6 year old grandchildren. They had a good time but things could have been better. DSP had a group of kids there for camp discovery and these kids were wild!! No one was watching them and they were running through the museum knocking into people and just generally being... More

I appreciate your feedback. I'll speak with our camp counselors as camp students certainly are to be supervised while on the floor. The one display that was down in the Orion gallery was fixed that same day, and unfortunately the tornado machine is waiting on a repair part from the vendor. This week we added new play food and items... More
