We live close to the park, so we keep a yearly pass. It is a large park, with lots of camping, picnicking, hiking and boat rentals. Worth your time. Very nice. Friendly employees.

Hiked two of the shorter trails which still took a few hours. Pretty views, not too crowded, well marked trails. Next time will try the paddle boats.

Not well known but has plenty to offer. Swimming beach, kayak, canoe and pontoon rentals, multiple bathroom locations, nice camping facilities. Close to town.

Our first visit to the park was part of a trail race (Running the Rose), and it is now one our favorite locations. I love the trails through the trees and hills. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. We'll be back!

Great park, lake, and RV/Cabin spot tucked away in Tyler. Several full hook up RV spots; nicely laid out; with overflow or group sites in a spoke section, with it's own wash rooms and showers. Tent camping; screened shelters with lattice at the bedroom end...More

This park is surprisingly big but the lake is not too big. You can easily walk around it in an hour. The trails are very nice with all levels of challenge. It is hard to get into this park but well worth it. The Lakeside...More
