We really enjoyed this museum. Told the history of the Texas Rangers. We also enjoyed reading about the families that had multiple family members who devoted their careers to law enforcement.

This was pretty neat. Lots of cool Texas Ranger memorabilia - mostly guns and clothing. If cowboys and guns and lawmen aren't your thing, you might not enjoy it. We did.

With the video and exhibits on site, plan on approx. 1-1/2 hours for the entire museum. Members of law enforcement would really enjoy it. The exhibits have a somewhat dated feel to them.

My father's first job in law enforcement during the 1950's was with the Department of Public Safety, linked to the Texas Rangers. I did not realize until my wife and I toured the museum November 3, 2017, there are today less than 200 Texas Rangers....More

This is so much more than I had expected. I loved "getting to know" the rangers who have served over the years. The displays are fantastic. I hadn't realized that the rangers were the ones who captured Bonnie and Clyde! You really want to give...More

Did not see signs regarding pets. If you have a service dog there are most likely no restrictions. Other wise call the museum to ask.
