I have always wanted to stop by and see this museum. The information center and gift shop were nice and staff helpful and informative. It's interesting to see that the Rangers still live in barracks on site. Well worth the stop!

Two hours was a quick visit! 45-minute film that is TV worthy. From the start with Steven F. Austin to present day with photos and assignments of all current Rangers. Weapons, special cases, etc. all for your review. Bonnie and Clyde demise included. Don't miss this place.

Beautiful collection of Colt 45, western items, sculptures and stories of Texas Rangers. Very nicely organized and very interesting. I saw little children there and even they seemed to enjoy it! Lots of interesting law enforcement memorabilia.

We took our four children to see the museum today. They had a scavenger hunt for them and if they successfully completed their sheet they could bring it back to the gift shop for small prize. For the adults, they had a documentary on Ranger history and a great weapons collection. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to see it all!

I think you could be here for hours reading everything, but we skimmed through and got the gist. My husband was interested in the weaponry of which there was a lot.

Stumbled upon the museum by chance as it is almost hidden by the bridge crossing the Brazos River alongside the Balor University Football Stadium. My young nephews were in awe of the weapons collection, as was I! I grew up reading of and seeing the Rangers exploits replayed in films and to actually see firsthand the full array of the... More
