Great museum, lots of information that I have either forgotten or never knew. Takes a bit of time if you read all the information. The museum gift shop was quite nice with a lot of Texas-made goods. Reasonably priced, too.

Poorly organized/arranged. A lot of good info but difficult to take it all in. They need an overhaul by a good museum designer.

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is a very good tribute to the Texas Rangers that roamed the west in search of criminals. The history goes far back to the Indians. The rangers were the best of the best in tracking and horsemanship....More

The guns were very interesting. Many rangers had personalized their gins with engravings. They were beautiful. They also had many guns that had been modified by the bad guys. The history of the rangers was also interesting. They had a 45 minute video on the...More

Thoroughly enjoyed this site. Lots to see. Loved the 45 minute film. The gift shop was fun and had some unusual things.

My 8-yo son is interested in guns and planes and all things military, so I took him to the Rangers museum. A lot of it was TOO educational for his tastes (I would have loved to stop and read more,) but there were some really...More

This large museum recounts the history of the Texas Rangers up to the present day. If you like guns, they got ‘em: there are many cases full to bursting with firearms from the 19th & 20th centuries. There are also multiple exhibits on prominent Rangers...More

As a retired law enforcement officer, I found all of the displays and information very interesting. I actually learned some facts about the Rangers that I didn't know.

First, this museum is big so make sure you have ample time for visiting. I thought the suggested 2 hour visit time was excessive, but was quickly proven wrong. Including the 45 minute video presentation, we were there for a little over two hours and...More

This would be good for middle school age kids and up. I think that younger kids may find this boring. I’m not aware of any other attractions in that area.

Did not see signs regarding pets. If you have a service dog there are most likely no restrictions. Other wise call the museum to ask.
