This place was very informative and interesting. It had lots of different guns and lots of history on the Texas Rangers. It also had a very good 45 minute film.

The best thing about this museum is that it has a lot about the sketchy beginnings of the Texas Rangers. So it is not all praise but a good view on its history from different viewpoints

As a 30 years veteran law enforcement officer this was my first visit to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum. There is so much history and pride filling these halls. Made me appreciate those that have gone before me and the challenges they...More

Very interesting for all ages to read up on the history and see the stories. A lot of interactive things that even kept teenagers interested.

Well laid out & beautifully presented exhibits detailing the history of this branch of law enforcement. Loved the more 'arty crafty' objects on display - the silver engraving & leather work - & the human interest stories, but found everything very interesting indeed. The story...More

We enjoyed learning about the vast history of the Texas Rangers. The children enjoyed picking up the original firearms and couldn't believe how heavy they were. We also did the game provided by the front desk to receive a free pencil in the gift shop.

We stopped here on our road trip. It was really interesting and so informative. I just wish we'd had longer here. Well worth a visit but allow plenty of time as there is a 45 minute show to watch and tons of stuff to look...More

We really enjoyed this visit. There was so much interesting displays, memorabilia, photos etc. we had several gun enthusiasts and they loved the many antique firearms.

Did not see signs regarding pets. If you have a service dog there are most likely no restrictions. Other wise call the museum to ask.

We spent a couple of hours at the museum, but you could spend all day! If you want to read all the information provided it could take you all week!
