This is one of the best laid out museums I have visited. It laid out the chronology of the Texas Rangers and highlighted both the good and bad history. This museum wasn't afraid of lisitng the failiings as well as the successes of this great organization. The film presentation was outstanding. You need to be a history buff to really... More

This review is based on my husband's experience. He loves Texas and Western history. The museum is set up clearly to trace the history of the Texas Rangers, detailing significant events in Texas history along the way. We attended the 45 minute film and both thought it was interesting. Visit the adjoining visitor's center prior for discount coupon for $1... More

Visited with my wife. We walked through in 30 minutes. Some of the exhibits are interesting. Mostly gun collections from the past.

A good place to go to see a lot of history. Make sure you allow more than an hour to see everything as there are a lot of exhibits, and you don't want to miss anything. Make sure you catch the movie, it's very informative.

My husband and I visited a year ago when we were in Texas. We took our two daughters and a friend back this time. It is an awesome and interesting historical venue and one Texans can be proud of.

The story of Texas, history of law enforcement and Rangers in Texas, wide collection of present and previous generation guns on display. If any of these interest you, definitely suggest trying this museum out. They do put in good effort to showcase the history and memorabilia associated with Texas Rangers, the documentation and presentation are very impressive. As far as... More

This is a very well put together museum. Lots of displays of antique weapons, and historical badges. Many items pre-date Texas as a state!! They do a great job of telling the story of the Rangers and how they came to be. I wish there were a better layout but have heard they are planning an expansion so would definitely... More
