Lake Whitney Thousand Trails RV Park had some fun things to do. They also had good wifi in 3 hotspots. It was still somewhat cool for swimming but the pool is large with a wading pool for little ones. Hiking the trails and throwing rocks in the lake were two of the activities my grandchildren enjoyed. Putt putt and shuffleboard... More

We visited the park with some of our friends. The people at the front office were super nice and helpful. Our campsite was spacious and clean- although the there were a few Ants living there. Our friends have a huge tent and there was plenty of room for them. The trails are nice and well maintained. The hikes were Easy.... More

The park is beutiful. I picked up a friend at the landing strip located inside the park. We 'investigated' the area and found the park clean and well manicured with good amenities. Located directly on the lake with nice shore frontage, I can envision the family coming back with the RV.

We loved this park! The site we were given was on a culdusac and had its own access to beach front where you can fish, skip rocks, swim and more! We were able to see a herd of over 30 deer at the deer crossing, bike and hike the two bridges trail. The other trail was closed due to high... More

Lake Whitney State Park is close enough to my home but far enough away to feel content. There are many activities to do within the Park. This is a great location for camping with your family including children. There are hiking trails, fishing, swimming, cycling, and the opportunity for age-appropriate children to become a Junior Park Ranger. There are specific... More

This by far my favorite local state park. There is nothing like taking the camper, boat and jet ski for some fun here. It is a good spot for safe family fun as there is a park attendant there 24hrs a day. The boat ramps are useful and the park is setup nice with great facilities. Almost didn't want to... More
