This was a neat little spot to visit. It's unfortunate that dune buggies and 4-wheelers are allowed to ruin the quiet and beauty of the park. We didn't have alot of time to spend here so we didn't walk out to the dunes, but enjoyed...More

Beautiful coral pink sand dunes! Go early or late in day during hot seasons, otherwise it is too hot. There is a visitor center but the parking areas before the center were just as great and were free.

Beautiful and we had the place to ourselves early one morning. IT was spectacular. THey have the honor system to pay when you arrive early so make sure you have $5 cash as they don't take credit cards.

Especially if you are going to Zion and Bryce and the Grand Canyon, this is a very interesting side-trip to give you something completely different. It's true that the sand is more orange than pink, but it's still so neat to see these dunes in...More

Yes but I don't think it is the park per se. Likely a vendor. But you can find them nearby.

Yes, it is open year round. It does not even close for holidays. It is only open for day use. No overnight camping.

No, not located there. Most rental companies/guides are out of Kanab and will meet you at the entrance of the park. Our guide finished with a group and waited an hour for us to arrive for our tour. Note there is no... More
