Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber...

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese.

Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy.

Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.

We were visiting Homestead crater and had some time before so stopped in. There selection of different cheeses was impressive. We tried the samples but settled on something different. A cheddar with orange and rosemary, it was very good and unusual. From the reviews I thought they made the ice cream on site but they don't. Apparently it is made... More

We stopped in for the cheese tour and tasting recently, and it was a blast. I learned that these cows have their own nutritionist, and how cheddar is made. The tasting part was a chance to sample 20 different cheeses that are made here and rate them. Who knows, I may visit again sometime.

Taste it and you will want more! Lots of samples to try. Really good selection of fresh, flavorful cheese. We also bought locally made jam and wished we had got more. Although we did not try the ice cream, those who did really enjoyed it.

If you're passing thru Midway, you really need to stop in and try some of their cheeses. All are made their at their facilities. Be sure too to get a ice cream cone of one of their tasty choices. Highly recommended.

We went here to buy cheese and left with more, including pickles, jam, salsa and a locally made, natural solid perfume. The cheese selection was intriguing. We chose the lemon sage cheddar after tasting a sample of the curds.

Heber Valley Artisan Cheese is a great fun stop on your trip in Midway! They have more cheese varieties than you'll know what to do with! We bought a few cheeses to go, varieties like "Wasatch back" (nice and spicy), orange basil, lavender honey, and tomato basil curds. All of them are so good! They even have free samples. When... Went here with family. The cheese is quite good, but overall the place just didn't do much for me. Not much seating, not a destination to see, food is so-so. Try their cheese in stores, but don't expect much from the visit. Several people were having their ice cream, which seemed to be good.
