The park has a multitude of Cottonwood trees, and a nice river and lake to walk around. Also there is historical markers showing where the original trappers and pioneers made their homes.

My wife and I decided to come here and take a break from unpacking and just eat lunch. It was nice and peaceful here and at the time there weren't many people at the park.

Run down looking on the outside. Both the fort and the information center were closed even though it was the middle of the day.

A very interesting camping site. It has a small body of water, as well as some tipis and a fort! Individual an group sites are available. The host are very helpful as well.
