I really liked all of the exhibits. There is even a little restaurant where you can go to get some food.

I visited purely to see the Minerva Teichert exhibition of Book of Mormon paintings and wasn't disappointed. The collection had been beautifully curated, and the biographical display of photographs and information about the artist's life helped me appreciate her work even more.

The MOA is not the Louvre, but it nevertheless has some real jewels in their collection. An original Norman Rockwell, Maynard Dixon are among the more famous artists, but many other less well know artists have some remarkable works on display. One I go back to see regularly is Premier Chagrin, which is a fine example of the 19th century... More

One of my colleagues curates this lovely museum on the campus of Brigham Young University. He took me on a tour of the basement level where they keep paintings not currently on display. It was a real treat. It is also a treat to wander around the galleries upstairs, and then to have lunch on the top level where the... More

I LOVE the BYU Museum of Art. We are so lucky to have such a quality place to visit for FREE. I could spend hours wandering through and reading everything. It brings so much to our community. Always wonderful exhibits and always nicely displayed. A wealth of culture at our door.

We visited the BYU Museum of Art a few years ago. We were followed by security the entire time -- every room we moved to they moved to watching our every move. While other patrons we left alone to appreciate the art. Keep in mind that we had kids. The way we were treated many years made it so I... More

The museum is a perfect way to spend a couple of hours at BYU. We were very impressed with their permanent collection as well as the temporary ones. The art works are well presented is pleasant galleries. The cafe is also a good stop. The food was excellent and well priced. We recommend both the museum and the cafe.

I have loved taking my daughters to the museum of art at BYU. They enjoyed getting to see the exhibits but we had a personal connection to the museum when it was under the direction of Jeff Lambson. While the museum continues to be a nice place to visit I do feel that the exhibits when Jeff was there had... More

This museum is in 2 floors. At our time of visit there was a presentation of religious art related to the LDS Church on the main floor. Seeing Jesus in America, Moroni, and the other parts of Book of Mormon were unique and interesting. The other part presented American images from 100 years ago. A very few highlights as obviously...
