What a nice park. We were looking for high ground to watch the sunset and stumbled on this little jewel. It was like being on Mars - the red planet. We watched people practice rock climbing - good idea! Make sure you have the correct footwear. You will enjoy the offered views.

This park is fun if you are looking for some family fun with some easy rock climbing and shorter hikes. It is fun for the kids to play around and see the old ruins and the house built into the rocks. If you are wanting to really hike, this is not the park to go to.

This park is right in the city and is free! It has lots of the red rocks that this area is known for. We did some climbing and were treated to some awesome city views. There are trails as well. The visitor center is very nice and has bathrooms if needed. They also have a gorgeous garden that you can... More

I took my 8 yr old here for a little father and son outing. It was really fun and although we were pressed for time due to a movie we had tickets to we really enjoyed it. We'll be going back to explore a little more!

My kids enjoyed climbing the red rocks and exploring the slot canyon. It gets really hot in summer, so be aware of the heat. It is worth a stop, if you have an hour or so to kill in St. George. We also enjoyed the nearby garden.

We went to this park to find the 'slot' canyon. It was very fun to climb over the Red Rocks. Took pictures on the bluff and then took pictures down on the ground showing the DIXIE 'sign'. We did find the 'slot' canyon, but I was unable to get thru, it is a tiny opening at the end. There was... More

First time visiting this park and it's absolutely beautiful; lots of areas to walk and look around at the view and several plants. It has a pond and waterfall and yes they have restrooms and places to sit. I took my dogs with us and they enjoyed seeing a small lizard cross the sidewalk. I'd highly recommend visiting the park... Pioneer Park has something for everyone. I came with a few friends who love parkour, and they had the time of their lives! I'm not as avid a climber, but I still had a great time exploring the area before sunset. Pioneer Park has a great view of the valley.

This is a nice, simple park. There are plenty of places to explore and it has nice views of the city of St. George.
