Go to be close to God. Love the grounds outside, wonderful and beautiful place to find serenity and peace.

Sacred and beautiful , the grounds and atmosphere is beautiful. Many sacrifices were made for us to enjoy. If you visit this it will never leave your memory, I visited here in the 2980's and said some day I want to live here, and now I do. This place will affect your life in such a positive way.

in St.George, Utah one can see the LDS Temple from anywhere in town, it's the white glow is mistakable, as I drove by the visitors center, I seen a tall statue of Jesus Christ inside behind some tall windows, as I pulled over and parked I felt as like some thing new will be from going inside, it truly is... We are of a different faith, but there is a lot of history in the Mormon Faith and have visited several of their historical sights in several locations from Illinois to Utah. The Visitor's Center is quite interesting and have toured the Temple in Navoou, IL prior to the dedication, this is a very beautiful, peaceful area to visit.

The St. George LDS temple is beauty and historical. But watch out for signing any register. The missionaries WILL BE knocking on your door!

Although we are not Mormon, we are interested in religious beliefs & history. Learned a lot about the history of the Temple and the origins of Saint George, from a missionary in the visitor center, as well as from exhibits in the visitors center. Doesn't take long to see and the grounds are very well landscaped and beautiful. .

Just like the feeling you get in the red rocks of southern Utah, a visit to the temple grounds and visitor's center in St. George is a peaceful feeling. The temple is beautiful and the visitor's center answers any questions you might have. This is one of the first temples that opened when the Saints came to Utah. As always... More

This was the second time for me to visit the temple. The visitor information station was staffed by two young women and a senior gentleman who were happy to share what information they had. Will return on another visit to St. George.
