I've skied both Sundance Alpine (2014) & Nordic centers (2017). The scenery is unsurpassed. The downhill area is very family-friendly. It is not a large ski resort, nor does it have the most modern, fancy amenities, but there is a good variety of skiing for all levels and the mountain has a good vibe. The Nordic center offers some wonderful,... More

A very nice small scale resort, tucked into the SW arm of Mt Timpanogos. The ski area is quaint and has enough terrain to entice beginners and experts. Chairs are slow but so is the pace (if your in a hurry go to McDonalds). Best lift ticket deal for out-of-towners is to purchase through Liftopia, the day before. Uncrowded.

We have skied a number of the various Utah ski resort over the years. Sundance might not be the biggest or have the fastest lifts, but it had some great runs. We skied for three days in January. There was no new snow on those days, but they had received plenty of snow earlier in the week. The overall grooming... More

There is only one part of Sundance Mountain that's worth skiing and that's the back. There is only only place to eat on the back side of Sundance Mountain and that's Bear Claw. It's not a cafe. It's not a restaurant. It's not well..it's not anything. Today at least it was crewed by four young men who were more interested... More

I have only spent a few nights here but I love this little experiment. The skiing is fun and there is some decent terrain for the small size of the property but the accommodations are beautiful. I can see why RR created the place. Great place for couples to 'get away'... good food and lots of relaxing.

I am very upset with the way Sundance has their season passes setup. I bought a season pass for $300 (which is the high school or if you don't turn 19 before January 1st pass) and I went in to get my picture taken and receive my pass but they said that I could not have it because I graduated... I grew up near Sundance and have had many occasions to visit. After recently visiting the resort town of Sun Valley I'm more appreciative of how beautiful Sundance really is. (Sun Valley area is hideous.) Last night I enjoyed one of my favorite activities - the Halloween lift at Sundance. For about 10 days prior to Halloween each year Sundance... More

We rode the ski lift today. It was beautiful. It was nice and cool-maybe needed a jacket since it was early evening. Amazing views. Many riding their mountain bikes on the trails today. Walked the trails up and saw fish in the stream and pond. Such a nice retreat and amenities. Zip line is a little noisy but looks fun.... More

We go see a play every summer in their outdoor theater. We love the atmosphere. This time there was a deer just grazing in the field behind us as we watched the show. The production is good. You can take a shuttle or walk to the theater. If you walk, it is more of a hike and it is in... More
