Great hike to the top of Mount Timpanogos. I made this hike end of October and it took me about 4 hours to get to the top and 3 hours to get back down. I started my hike at the parking near Timpooneke campground (at...More

We visited during fall, and the colors were breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking several trails. We also drove up to the summit, and the view was amazing. Highly recommend this during the fall, but we hope to return and hike here during the summer as well....More

Very scenic hike. 14 to 15 miles but it is very enjoyable. From Saddle to the peak will be cold and windy, carry warm cloths. Lots of people on weekends, parking at Timpooneke TH will be an issue.

It is a 15 miles round trip and 4422 feet elevation gain. It is very hard trail but not dangerous. Be prepared and you will be OK. We went 15 July 2016, saw spectacular wild flowers and amazing mountain goats. It is a wonderful experience!

This is a spectacular hike but very strenuous. We started at the Aspen Grove trailhead at 7:30 am and kept a moderate pace. The first mile + is paved but then there is varied terrain, some with exposure (drop offs to the side). We reached...More

We began our hike at 2 am and I'd never do it differently. We started from the Timpanooki tail head, which I heard is the easier route, but let's face it, a mountain is a mountain! Bring head lamps if going at night. The moon...More

We hike this trail as often as we can and it never ceases to thrill. Don't go on a weekend if you can help it. Lots of BYU students and just more traffic than we prefer . . . but if you don't have an...More
