The Burlington bike trail on the way to the Champlain Causeway is a fantastic ride..We did a little extra and traveled 28 miles...this for the very beginner so seasoned rider as distance can be adjusted according to ability...Don't miss this one!

My mother and I walked and my 4 year old rode her scooter. We stopped at 2 playgrounds along the way and even the beach. Beautiful views, attractions for children and adults. Awesome. Well maintained and landscaped. Very green grass.

A great shoreline ride. We took the bike ferry over to South Hero for a nice out and back trip. One negative is the unpacked surface that can be dusty in spots. Also, a fair number of walkers. Most were very courteous and everyone co-existed...More

Took a bike ferry over Lake Champlain to the Islands. Fabulous. The bike trail goes over the water until it reaches a cut from a previous railroad bridge. Service to the other side is provided by a small pontoon boat bike ferry. Unforgettable experience

Good bicycle path along old railway line across Lake Champlain. Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Lots of fresh air and not too many people there.

Level, level, level. A great bike path for biking or walking. 14 mile, take to end of causeway for a great tide.

The bike path is on an old railroad bed so an easy ride and a great way to view Lake Champlain (for free). Parking at various places along the route.

Local Motion has good bikes for rent south of ECHO Lake Aquarium along the trail. Singles and tandems. They are open earliest on Sunday morning.
