Converted from the Central Vermont Railway to a bike path in the 1970s, this easy trail crosses through beaches and parks and offers great views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and the city.

Always a favorite...this has been a highlight of our trips to Burlington for over 20 years. Great way to start the day for morning exercise or relax with an evening stroll along the lake.

Really hard to beat the lakefront location of this well maintained bike path. Always worth a visit, when in Burlington, even if you don't have a bike along! Plenty of rentals in town, or, you can just take a walk. Gorgeous views.

This is an easy trail, well marked path, with lots of nice spots to stop along the way, even the science museum/aquarium. Enjoy!

Local Motion has good bikes for rent south of ECHO Lake Aquarium along the trail. Singles and tandems. They are open earliest on Sunday morning.
