A beautiful little walk along a boardwalk to the Falls, through swamps and with a fine view of hills and trees, especially gorgeous in the fall. The Falls are very nice with viewpoints. Well worth the slight detour to find them.

Great hike for the whole family. We also followed the river upstream to get more views but that is only ok for people will to scramble up hill over roots and such but very pretty.

After a brief stop over in Killington, we took a walk up to Thundering Falls Trail. It was a short and easy hike to a beautiful falls. Be sure to wear bug spray as the mosquitos were overwhelming.

This is a surprisingly beautiful waterfall that is an easy .5 mile hike from the parking area. Not much parking available however.

To get to most waterfalls of this caliber you need to hike for an hour and endure bugs, rocks and slippery slopes. But Thundering Falls is completely accessible- including handicapped! The parking lot is small but easy. The boardwalk over the swamp is flat and...More

the trail to get here is a bunch of boardwalks and a small amount of trail. This was a great find and I'd highly recommend

Thanks Wayne179, we visited the Falls in Oct and the water level was pretty low... so yes, Spring following the snow melt would be much more impressive...
