After a long drive from NY to Killington, VT, I wasn't ready to go on a HIKE to see a waterfall. But I wasn't ready to crash for the day. Looking through Sights to See right here, I found this wonderful short hike to see...More

This little hike is a must do, it is easy but very beautiful. Short walk from gravel parking area. Once you get to the waterfall you can hike up to the top. That part is much more difficult.

Saw the sign on main drag and reading the reviews we knew we wanted to check it out, but the problem was after driving around (finding a beautiful lake) and asking a local we still struggled to find it. So stay on the main road...More

There seemed to be a parking area to get to the trail to make the walk, however it was covered in snow and my little rear wheel drive car wouldnt have made it out. Super mellow and scenic walk to get to the falls, and...More

Thundering Falls is located on River Road in Killington, VT. Visitors use a boardwalk to traverse wetlands and then reach the Application Mountain Trail. The air becomes cooler as you approach the falls. This site is a beautiful year round attraction.

I would't call this a hike! Not even close. It was a short walk from the parking lot. Fantastic view! Totally worth the stop.

It had been too dry when we went. Large disappointment. More of a shush than a thunder. Choose your time.
