Okemo is quite simply the best ski resort in Vermont. Yes it's expensive and yes, it's Vermont and sometimes conditions aren't great. But Okemo makes the most of even the worst snow seasons with top notch snow making. The ski school is fabulous and there is so much variety on the trails, you'll never get bored. We also love to... Still love this mountain, great terrain and good snow cover. But note to self do not go there at the tail end of a long weekend and the beginning of spring break for a couple states that are notoriously bad mannered and have no idea what "ski etiquette" really is.

Came on Saturday before the Super Bowl. The mountain was busy, but lines were tolerable on everything but the six person covered lift. I'd advise just avoiding that and taking the smaller lifts to the summit. The main lodge area was packed, but we were able to find a place to eat and change. The ticket takers, and cashiers were... This was our second stay in Building C, and we'll definitely come back. We enjoyed the ski-on/ski-off location, the wood fireplace, with plenty of firewood, and found the spacious kitchen well stocked with cookware and full spice rack. This time, we forgot something in the room, and I emailed Okemo--they promptly responded and told me they found it and are... More

We came to Okemo during the mid week in February and we were impressed with the conditions of the slopes the food in the restaurants and the lack of lift lines. We had not brought our skis so I had to rent and that process was quick and painless. The equipment I received was extremely adequate for a day of... More

We had a great five day trip to Jackson Gore/Okemo Mountain. Highly recommend. It was good for the adults and my beginner skiers had a blast too! Lots to do, many trails to ski, lots of food to be eaten. Everyone was happy.

Nice staff, decent lifts, lots of groomers and blues. Parks had it all, small to very large features and kickers. A little lacking on expert terrain but I hear the glades are fun that we didn't have time to find. There are tons of ski in/out options if you want to rent a house or condo. Jackson Gore side is... I went skiing for the very first time and decided to take the Double track lessons, which gives you 2-day 2-hour lessons with the possibility to take a third lesson for $55. The two instructors I had were Michael on the first day and Jay on the second day. At first I was a bit upset I would not have... More

We have been going to Okemo a lot for the past three years because it it is very family-friendly. It can get crowded at times but the skiing is good, they're good about grooming the trails and blocking them off when they are too icy and you can find good places to eat that are more refined and other things...
