State park visit

Absolutely gorgeous. Very beautiful and we were there in the fall. When you hear of autumn in New England, this is the place to visit.

As a species we think we affect the world. If you look this beautiful spectacle that has been slowly and magnificently been "hand crafted" by nature you start to realize that there is no way we have the patience or ability to create such a work of art. If in the area it is a must see attraction.

There is more to the Quechee Gorge than just the view over the high bridge railings. You could actually walk down the steps and off on a short trek following the riverbed. Unfortunately, our brief stop did not allow for much exploration. Be careful crossing from the carpark over to the other side of the bridge as this is a... More

We went to Quechee Gorge for the third time on Columbus Day weekend, primarily to see the fall foliage. We sure weren't disappointed. It was amazing!! We walked the gorge from the dam at one end all the way to the opposite end. It's a little more than three miles each way. We walked at a leisurely pace taking in... More

Such an unusual geographic feature. Especially with the Vermont foliage! If you go, be sure to dine at nearby Simon Pearce restaurant and see the glass blowing demonstration.

This was a nice, welcome stop on our bus trip. The gorge is nice to look at, and there is a little hiking trail. The gift shop is very, very nice. Great selection of souvenirs and gifts. When we stopped it was quite crowded.

The Quechee Gorge is simply amazing. It is natural beauty that is humbling and breathtaking. The trails are very easy to hike and the view from the bridge is amazing. I do wish they had a real observation deck, but its worth a visit just the way it is.

My husband and I are rookie hikers, and we were hesitant to hike to the bottom of Quechee Gorge (for fear of the hike back up), but the trails were gradual, not steep. We didn't need our hiking poles until we reached the bottom of the gorge. Due to the drought, there wasn't much water at the bottom of the... More

Do not miss an opportunity to witness God's beautiful nature handy work in Queechy Gorge. Stop the car, get out, take a short walk to the center of the bridge and just behold the beauty. Do not miss this! The only thing it cost is a few minutes of your time. Gorgeous! And don't forget your camera.
