We were so pleased that Martha volunteered her time to open the church for us in February. She gave us history on the church, and allowed us to venture around. The original wooden structure is a marvel. If you are into vintage architecture, be sure...More

Great review which the Richmond Historical Society appreciates. We are not normally open during the winter months, but are usually able to find a volunteer to give a tour if given advance notice.

The Church is open during the summer from 10 until 4. Hopefully you will have time to stop next time. It is a National Historic Landmark and well worth a visit.

A fantastic piece of architecture a 'Must See' if you are visiting Stowe. The internal architecture is as stunning as the exterior, you also don't have to be religious tomappreciate the splendour of this building.

We were fortunate to find this building open and staffed with a very knowledgable tour guide. So interesting and our 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing pretend in the pews and pulpit.

Just happened by on the way to Birds of Vermont. Stopped and was surprised that a guide was there to explain the history of this church. It is on the National Registry too.
