This is a popular path, second only to Burlington's. Despite the climb it is well designed with gradual pitch. It has 10 bridges and at the top is a historic covered bridge. There are dozens of pull offs so you can stop for a snack, lunch or dinner. In fall, there is a corn maze to entertain as well. Well... More

The path is well maintained and is perfect for a walk around the Stow area, they path is an in and out that is 5ish miles in and the same out. The path passes shops and farms for chances to stray :)

It is a great place for an easy bike ride and walking. It can get a little crowded a times but by Vermont standards. Some people may think is just fine. Places to eat and drink along the way. Many access points. Good places to park.

Locals and tourists alike love the bike bath and use it in all sorts of ways, all seasons. You can cross country ski for free in winder or use it rain or shine in other seasons. People walk or run different segments for safe exercise with views of Mt. Mansfield.

We went snow shoeing on the trail. It was a peaceful walk along a river. We went for a 2 and 1/2 mile walk. Parking was easy and right off of Mountain Road. Excellent time!

Great way to spend the day with family and friends. Great places to eat and stores to visit along the way especially on Farm market days!

We walked from near the Stoweflake hotel to the main Stowe village on a crisp sunny day. It was longer than expected but this was a good thing! We hardly saw anyone else and it felt like a country walk even though we were not too far from the mountain road.

Made time to spend on the Rec Path during our recent visit! It was perfect for snow shoeing, cross country skiing, or walking. We made a day of it, enjoyed a picnic at a gazebo, and even found a geocache while we were out. Always love this when we visit! Would commend and will certainly visit the next time we... More

We were here midweek just after a snowfall - it was like a winter wonderland! Very few people, beautiful scenery. The path is 5.5 miles long one way and is not a loop so if you walk one way you have to come back the same distance. The path does actually cross main streets a few times so you can... More
