I have not skied here for 20 years and the changes are tremendous - in a good way. Nice large base lodge with large cafeteria and plenty of seating. Good up hill capacity with many high speed quads. Spring skiing was excellent with some of...More

We had an amazing 2 days on the slopes with stellar conditions and quick and friendly service. An extremely easy mountain to navigate with the full range of trails. I would highly reccomend this mountain. This was our first trip and will definitely return!

Love skiing at Stowe. They get more snow than everyone else because of their location near lake champlain (lake effect snow). The terrain is challenging on the Mount Mansfield side of the resort, but there is also great beginner and intermediate stuff on the Spruce...More

We watched hard pack turn to waist deep powder during the Blizzard of \mar 2017. Skiing went from OK to "now I know why people come here". Snow so deep I lost a ski early in the day and was very impressed with the way...More

We have skied throughout the Rockies and Stowe provides a skiing experience on par with places "out west". A charming New England town staffed by friendly locals with dining and accommodations options for every budget. Yes it can be cold here and yes lift tickets...More

Visited for a one day ski trip. The mountain was beautiful, but what I really noticed was the level of service. Rented skis and the the entire staff was so nice. Would definitely return.

This mountain offers lots of trails for all ski levels. Can be icy and crowded, but fun. The gondola is good to go up in when it's windy.

Where did you find a discount coupon for the gonola ride up Mt. Mansfield. I'll be there this summer with 2 friends. Thanks.

Lol I don't think Stowe ever offers discounts
How long is the gondola ride up and back? How long would be necessary to see the sights from the top? Thanks.

I think it took about 20 minutes at the most to ride up. There isn't much to see at the top other than the views so you can spend as little or as much time as you want. There is a restaurant but it closes at 4:30.
I will hopefully be visiting Stowe over Christmas/ New Years with a family of 9 in total. I am looking for lodging which is most convenient to the lifts. What are my options?

It's impossible for it to be any easier than the Stowe Mountain Lodge. It's ski and ski out, and the ski valet is the BEST. They will unload your skis and boots from the car and the next time you'll need to worry about them... More
