Not a large area but great network of trails. I use it for walks with my dog Alfred. Most routes are short enough for small children. Bonus is the gnome home and free dog treats by the maple sugaring cabin. Generally uncrowded.

There were nice trails through 79 acres of dense woods - easy trails for kids. Don't forget bug spray if you visit in the warmer months. Not breath-taking, but pleasant stroll through nature.

This is such a gift for the town of Stowe. The woods are so quiet and thick, you can imagine what it was like in colonial times. Well-maintained trail that can be hard to find at times. It's not too difficult to pick it up...More

Very nicely marked and well maintained trails. All the mucky areas were bridged. The Sugar Shack was nice and surprisingly someone had put the flag up on the mailbox to send some mail, I think they may wait a long time for the mailman to...More

Last year, we XC skied here, and barely survived to tell the tale. It is clearly a hiker/walker kind of place. So this year, we broke in our snowshoes. Wonderful! People really do clean up after their dogs. The trails are well marked. You can...More
