The Joslyn Round Barn was Built by Clem Joslyn in 1910. Clem eventually sold the farm to his cousin Ralph, who spelled his last name with an “i” (go figure!). It was used as a dairy barn from 1910 until 1969, when Marge Joslin said to Ralph, "either the cows go or I go." Marge (and Ralph) stayed until 1986 when Jack and Doreen Simko bought The Round Barn Farm in March of that year. They spent eighteen months restoring the farmhouse into a seven guestroom Vermont inn, then turned their attention to the Round Barn.

Attention to every detail is exemplified at The Round Barn Inn. The service for the guests, knowledgeable staff and management, breathtaking gourmet breakfasts by their talented chefs, the ambience throughout the inn, complimentary cookies and appetizer in the afternoon, and fine wine selection exceeded our expections.

There is no better place than Vermont in the Fall, and this was a magical venue. The staff was very accommodating, the food was awesome and the Round Barn's design lent itself nicely to the rustic chic atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

This is just perfection for an outdoor wedding and cocktail hour. The reception was inside the barn and beyond beautiful. Atmosphere is surreal, delicious food, friendly, warm If you are planning a wedding in Vermont don't miss this spot. Also make sure you hire the man who takes your photo in an old volkswagon bus-a real delight and a fun souvenir... More

This place was absolutely wonderful. We had white meat chicken that was incredibly tender. The servers were great. I did not stay there so I can't comment on the rooms. I wish there was more lights in the parking lot. It was hard to walk back at 11 p.m. On the grass.

My niece had her wedding here and it was just beautiful... Everything was perfect. Spent the weekend and would recommend highly. Breakfast was 3 courses and heavenly. My room was so comfortable and cozy, over looking the beautiful snow covered fields. The Inn is just beautiful and I will definitely be going back.

After a cold, rainy birthday hike, I surprised my boyfriend with a room at The Round Barn Farm. We warmed up with a steam shower in the Joslin room, which is as beautiful as it is comfortable. The next surprise was a fireside dinner at The Common Man, which was excellent and I highly recommend it. Back at the Inn,... More
