Mad River runs through the Sugarbush Valley to Moretown, where it meets the Winooski river. It offers many opportunities for a fishing, canoeing, hiking, swimming, picnicking, or just a lazy day watching the river flow by.

There are so many wonderful shopping places here. We're going up to Vermont tomorrow (it's a 225 mile ride) to look for unique gifts for friends for Christmas. It is well worth the ride...very scenic, and great places to eat.
