The Cornish -Windsor Covered bridge is the longest covered bridge in the United States. The is another longer covered bridge in Canada, but only beats ours by a few feet. This bridge stretches between New Hampshire and Vermont. It is over the Connecticut River and...More

Fun place to visit when going to nearby Norwich or Hanover, VT. Places to park on the NH side. No signs leading to it, sadly, but easy to find once you know it's there. Love the sign on the NH side over the entrance.

This is a long bridge and it's dark - it feels like you should be on a horse instead of in a car when you go through. Covered bridges are so uncommon that it is a rare treat to find one - and especially such...More

Saw this bridge and it is history. Connects two states and perfect spot for pictures and a plaque to read the history. Really a beautiful setting.

Really enjoyed driving and seeing longest covered bridge in US. Just drive down bridge street and across into N Hampshire.

I just loved that on the NH side, it says: Walk your horses or pay $2. They've never painted over it.

Amazing to get to drive through a piece of history! There is a place to park where you can take pictures. Well worth a drive out of your way.

This is a wonderful historic bridge to see and it is great to see the workmanship involved in building it. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic that uses the bridge, but there is a small pull off area on the NH side. Make sure...More

We've visited a few covered bridges. Some were very new but this bridge had the marks of old age on it as if to say I've seen quite a few things in my life time and am still standing strong. Worth visiting.
