Took my kiddos here last weekend at the beginning of the fall season. My suggestion would be to get there early, especially if you have kiddos, to take full advantage of everything that the farm has to offer. Apple spiced donuts are a must!!

We took a daytrip from Mclean to pick cherries and really enjoyed the park-like atmosphere. Bunches of stuff for the kids, so everyone stayed entertained the whole time.
