When I lived in Burke, VA I had the fortune of being within walking distance to this fantastic lake. After all these years and it has still retained its beauty and tranquility, a true testament to Father nature's essence. It is perfect for jogging/walking, picnicking,...More

There is a path around the lake that keeps the lake in view almost all the time. It is 4.7 miles long and has very little hill. It is mostly in the shade except for when going over the dam. I have jogged and walked...More

This lake is a benefit for the community of Burke. The walk round the lake is 1.5 miles on a prepared track. There are turtles and frogs in the lake, together with a resident Heron. There are play parks for the children.

When my family and I lived near Lake Braddock, I took my daughters fishing there. They had a great time. So did I. They had the biggest smile on their face. The date is a bit off but it's the closest date to our trip.

Great place to take a walk, a run or spend time with your pet and clear your head. Very diverse community with playgrounds, a pier and allows for small boats. The lake is for locals - not a destination.

Collect your thoughts while walking around the lake taking in all that nature has to offer. Many types of birds to watch and flora and fauna abound.

Small little "lake" is actually drainage for the community. Nice walking path around it was often crowded. Better to drive a few more miles to Burke Lake.

I always enjoy the walk about the lake, somewhere around 5 miles in mostly shade. Full sun when you go across the dam. Most of the trail is well packed dirt however some is blacktop near the fishing area. Nice minature golf plus train and...More
