Wonderful staff! Nice cabins with all you need. Most diffidently go to fossil beach and watch the sun come up!

spend 3 night in a cabin and had a great time (even though the kitchen was a little basic - and I do not mean not having a dishwasher), did all the hikes and will come back in swimming season. wished they had a spring break program set up for all the kids in the park.

I had been here when I was a young boy with my mother and now I enjoy going back with my children. This is a very unique location and has a lot of surprises in store if you manage to get here, don't mind the outdoors and have patients in treasure hunting. Whatever you are here for, I suggest to... We went to have a picnic and to enjoy the beach. Beach was a bit rocky but it did not bother us. We also were looking for shells and shark teeth. Fun for all.

This review is for the house itself. First it is in need of a deep cleaning and some updating. We have stayed at many state parks and this by far was the dirtiest. I was surprised because we had never experienced this at other parks. The view and the outdoor decking is wonderful and almost made up for the condition... More

It's getting more and more difficult to find the time and place to concentrate on what is right in front of us and to interact in a meaningful way with each other and with nature. Westmoreland State Park is a place where you can find that experience. It is a lovely, well managed facility in a beautiful natural setting. We... More

We stopped here for the night and enjoyed it so much, decided to stay longer. We were here for the beautiful fall colors which added to the beauty of this park. It is extremely well kept and the Rangers were all very pleasant and helpful. It has a nice beach area down on the Potomac River and miles of trails... More
