Dropping by in October to enjoy the colors and great weather. Westmoreland is a beautiful place. Great trails! Discovery Center is a hoot. Staff was great. Staying in the cabins and kayaking on the Potomac remains on our bucket list. A bargain!

Lovely park, with some great trails heading down to the river shore. We only had time to hit two trails, but enjoyed each. Park also features a visitors and small nature center. Perfect romantic spot for couples, and a place to bring the kids.

I found a bunch of beautiful fossils on this beach. The hike to the beach is a little steep but very pretty. I like to dig along the shore line.

Because the beach front area is so popular on major holiday weekends in the summer, we do not rent the shelter then. We could not guarantee that you or your guests will make it into the park that day. Sorry.
