Make a trip up the gravel road.. it is beyond worth it!! The owners Deanne and Jim are fantastic, both a wealth of wine knowledge! The place has spectacular views from a large deck. Sit and enjoy the 5 star pizza and baguettes. Everything was...More

This is one of the most difficult to find wineries we've ever been to. There should be better and more signage. If you think you're on your way, keep going, it's up there. It's basically a one lane dirt road to the top. The view...More

We have always come here to cool off in the summer as it is 10 degrees cooler up here and of course to enjoy the best view if any winery in Virginia. Just be sure to not follow your nav if it tries to take...More

Leah poured our wines and did a fantastic job. The vineyard has new steps down to the winery. They now serve delicious pizza as well as baguettes. Danny let us borrow his binoculars to look at the amazing view.

Wife and I stopped here on a Tuesday afternoon and received a personal tour from the new owner. OMG what a view this place has from the huge deck of a beautiful tasting room. New owners have many plans to grow and expand this little...More

We stopped here while going to several vineyards in the area. It's definitely off the beaten path. I recommend either all-wheel or 4-wheel drive to get here as you have to wind up the mountain. But if you have the right car, it's a really...More

I did my homework before traveling to Stone Mountain Vineyards, but words in the reviews didn't do this place justice in two ways. The road up is steep, narrow, and over two miles. Glad we made it, because the view is breath taking. Oh, nearly...More

Luckily, this was our first stop of the day -- had it been our 3rd or 4th, I'm not sure we would have made it up the rough terrain! But, once you are finally at the top of the mountain, it will be worth it....More
