Great wines, fantastic service, knowledgeable owners, educational visit. First stop on any winetasting trip in the northern Shenandoah Valley, VA MUST include the Glen Manor Vineyards. Bag a picnic lunch, purchase a top-quality wine from these folks, and spend an hour or two on the grounds. You will not be disappointed! PS. Stop at the Elements Restaurant in Front Royal for your lunch-to-go. The gourmet food pairs nicely with all of Glen Manor's selections.

What a find! Glen Manor is a real gem - all of the wines are expertly crafted by winemaker Jeff White and wonderfully presented by Jeff's wife, Kellie. Passion is the name of the game here and from the minute you walk in, you can feel how invested they are in this endeavor. From rose to sweet white to bold... More

Lovely winery tucked in the mountains (10 minutes outside of Front Royal). Tasting room staff were very knowledgeable and great about telling us about the wine and the winery. We are wine lovers - and this was one of the best of the VA wineries we visited.

We recently visited this winery. The tasting room itself is not large, but there is plenty of room on the grounds to enjoy a picnic and a glass/bottle of their wine. The grounds are beautiful. The vineyards sit on a hillside just below Skyline Drive. The grounds at the winery are spacious and well kept with plenty of chairs and... More

Don't come here with friends or other families -- they'll tell you they are too small to accommodate and will not serve you! I was ready to buy a case -- the wines are excellent, but we came in 2 cars (2 adults and 2 kids per car), and apparently they have a rule that you can't be with more... More

I agree with another Contributor, GMV is one of the top 3 vineyards in Virginia. My wife and I have been visiting Virginia vineyards for almost 20 years and this one is a winner. The tasting was 1 white, 1 rose and then a few reds. Then, we spent some quiet relaxing time sipping on their property. They provide chairs... More

Tucked way up on a mountainside in Front Royal, you reach this vineyard by driving a winding road. But don't despair...the drive is worth it. We were hosted by the wife of the owner who delighted us with her telling of the beginnings of the vineyard, the history of the family, and how they planned to continue to develop their... More

The wines here just keep getting better and better. Jeff and Kelly do a great job. We live two miles away and visit several times each year. The Sauvignon Blanc and St. Ruth are my favorites. Jeff adds nothing to the wines--no sugar, no tannins, just wine. The setting is also lovely!

We selected Glen Manor because it was the most convenient for our itinerary and the website looked intriguing. Having arrived late morning, we were fortunate to have Kelly's sole attention for some time before it began to get busy. She was delightful and engaging as well as knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our time there very much. It was fun to... More

I admit to having had reservations about going to Glen Manor Vineyards and paying for a wine tasting where the establishment chooses the wines you sample. I do not like red wines, and only 2 whites were listed. We were greeted by Ashleigh White, the vintner's wife. She is very sociable and made us feel very welcomed. We were given... More
