Nice quiet beach away from the busy stretch. Playground area for little kids only disappointment was construction on pier when we were there but would differently go back.

This is one of the better beaches in Hampton roads. Parking is not an issue when the beach is unless the beach is crowded. I love comming hear and I highly recommend this place.

This beach is beautiful, extremely clean, and accessible from anywhere in the 757. Not overcrowded and circus-like as many would feel when going to beaches like Virginia Beach or even Myrtle Beach in SC; this is a family-friendly and very clean enjoyable beach to spend...More

Best place on the peninsula, protected from big waves because it's the bayside. Can get crowded on summer weekends.

We stopped there for a couple hours at the end of the day. It was a small, but nice beach that many kids could safely wade in. They had a fishing pier to walk out on as well for a dollar. There was a shaved...More

We loved this beach. It was overcast while we were there so we had the place to ourselves and we loved it! Spectacular!

We visited to hear a musical colleague perform with a popular local band. The beach and music drew a large crowd for a cool evening of entertainment.

My daughter is a nurse. She insisted on leaving. Feces smeared all over the female facilities and doors ripped off. Disgusting.

They are a few miles apart, so by car would take about 5-6 minutes. There are smaller beaches right at Fort Monroe as well. Fort Monroe is also great to walk around or even go fishing.
