It looks kind of real, the food, until you look at the ingredient lists and see that you are paying for repackaged factory food and shortcuts.

As others have said, this is a good indoor activity if the weather doesn't cooperate. Antiques are abundant as well as a toy shop, a saddle/leather shop, and the cannery. The Country Canner has many jams, jellies, etc. Basically anything that can go in a mason jar. Reminds me somewhat of Wall Drug in S.D., only cleaner. Nice people.

Lots to see and buy. Excellent variety of goods, wares, nick nacks, food, etc. User friendly for elderly and handicapped as there are plenty of places to simply sit and watch folks go by.

When you enter the market turn left and find the part that sells the jams and jellies. The jams and jellies are awesome but the fry pies are what dreams are made of. Think McDonald cherry pie times 1000. The glaze and the filling work so well with a homemade crust. We went back and bought 8 more after our... More

There's a little bit of something for everyone here. The kitchen shop has every item one could ever wish for to enhance the cooking experience. The Amish shop at the end of the building has quite an assortment of jellies and cheeses with tasting stations to sample the many cheeses. Everything in this shop is tasty!!

I loved going here with my husband. We purchased some local items for Christmas gifts. I'm glad our money could be spent locally. Very interesting place!

We found it really hard to leave the toy shop. So many old toys I used to play with as a child. Just loved this place and bought a lot of stuff for my children. Would recommend this place if in the area.

We spent an hour or so here checking out the local stores. Particularly enjoyed a place called Grandma's market where there are many samples of the snack foods that they sell. There are signs limiting you to one sample at each station so behave yourself! My wife enjoyed the Sew Classic Fabrics store where they had lots of sewing/quilting supplies.... More
