The Cascades Golf Course has often been ranked the number one golf course in Virginia. That said, some holes have more charm and interest than others. The first few holes run alongside a highway, and that is just not as pleasant as the holes that...More

Great golf course that was designed in 1923 by William Flynn (Shinnecock, The Country Club in Brookline Mass, Merion, Cherry Hills) and was fit to the existing terrain beautifully instead of being bulldozed into existence which seems to be the modern way to design golf...More

The Cascades has always been a great place to golf, but their upgrades to the course, the halfway house and the planned upgrades to the property are amazing! Job well done!!

Saturday fall golf. Golf course in great condition. Gorgeous day. Cheerful, friendly service from starter, bag staff, and pro shop. The Cascades is a must stop for golf in Southwest Virginia. Course closes for winter in early November.

Difficult Mountain Course. Have to hit the fairways or rough will eat you up. When it rains and afterwards small bugs will bother you, don't go. I just ignore them. Expensive $200.00 Round. Beautiful 17th and 18th, great holes to end a round. The course...More

Golf was great, course is beautiful and varied, BUT - the bugs were horrendous and the bug spray we had with us was no deterrent. They did rather ruin the experience, sadly. We had a caddy and he was great and very helpful.
