It was a wonderful tour of this beautiful historical church. Built in 1735 it is amazing to have survived 2 Wars and the weather with very minimal damage. A must see. Well worth the $5 admission.

We enjoyed learning about parish life in 1735. This history is incredible. And the church for being built well over 200 years ago is in perfect condition. You must see this!

Our hosts at Hope and Glory Inn suggested we drop by to visit this 19th century church built by Virginia's famous early planter, King Carter. It is indeed a great looking building from the exterior, but we declined to pay the $5 entrance fee.

Interesting historical site with original seating and well maintained site. The graveyard is also interesting. Worth a stop-by.
